NUMBER LOGIC PUZZLE

A number logic puzzle built from three constraints.

Play a free number logic puzzle online. Fill a 6×6 grid with 1–6 once per row and column while cage sums constrain each connected group. No download.

A number logic puzzle is most satisfying when the numbers are clues rather than trivia. PUZRU uses digits 1–6 as pieces in a constraint system: every row must contain 1–6 once, every column must contain 1–6 once, and each connected cage must add to its target. The puzzle is free to play in your browser and needs no download.

How the number logic works

Each empty cell sits at the intersection of a row, a column and a cage. A value is legal only when it satisfies all three. That means a cage combination that reaches the correct total can still be impossible if one of its digits would repeat in the row or column.

It is not a mental-math quiz

The arithmetic is deliberately simple. The challenge is deduction: identify which combinations can fit, intersect those possibilities with missing digits in the row and column, then rescan the board as each forced value creates new information.

One format, several ways to play

How it differs from Sudoku-style puzzles

PUZRU is not Sudoku. There are no 3×3 boxes. Its 6×6 grid follows row and column uniqueness, while addition cages provide the third constraint. If you already enjoy Sudoku, Killer Sudoku, KenKen, Calcudoku or Kakuro, some deduction habits may transfer, but PUZRU has its own rules and live Chain.

Designed for logic rather than guessing

Production PUZRU puzzles are accepted only after exact uniqueness and a logical no-guess quality check. A completed archive page can therefore show the real board, logic profile and deduction evidence behind the puzzle instead of relying on a generic generated description.

Put the idea into practice

The fastest way to understand the interaction between row, column and cage constraints is to solve a board. Start in the 200-puzzle progressive Training Room, then enter the live world whenever you are ready to race for Discoverer.
