PUZRULIVE LOGIC PUZZLE
CAGE SUM PUZZLE

Use cage sums to unlock a 6×6 logic grid.

Play and learn a 6x6 cage-sum puzzle online: connected cells reach target totals while every row and column uses the digits 1–6 once.

A PUZRU cage-sum puzzle combines arithmetic with placement logic in a browser-ready 6×6 grid. Every connected cage has a target total. The values placed inside that cage must add exactly to the target while still satisfying the row and column rules. That means a cage combination is only useful if it can actually fit its positions.

Start with constrained combinations

Two-cell cages, unusually low totals and unusually high totals often have fewer possible combinations. They are natural places to begin candidate elimination.

Cross-check before you commit

A combination can satisfy a cage and still be impossible because one of its digits would repeat in a row or column. Strong solves repeatedly move between arithmetic and placement logic.

No guessing by design

PUZRU production puzzles pass both an exact uniqueness check and a logical solver quality gate. Random trial-and-error should not be necessary to complete an accepted live puzzle.

Put the idea into practice

The fastest way to understand the interaction between row, column and cage constraints is to solve a board. Start in the 200-puzzle progressive Training Room, then enter the live world whenever you are ready to race for Discoverer.
